A Thrifted Thanksgiving Turkey

Thrift shopping is so much fun, but it’s such a time sucker. I once told my husband I’d only be five minutes in the store (the Dallas Cowboy game was about to come on) and I ended up spending twenty. Oops! He wasn’t totally angry at me though because he knows what a time sucker it can be. You go in thinking “I’ll just look real fast” and well, you have to look at everything. You just have to.Pastel Carousel | My Style | Thrifted Thanksgiving Turkey DressPastel Carousel | My Style | Thrifted Thanksgiving Turkey DressPastel Carousel | My Style | Thrifted Thanksgiving Turkey DressSo I found this beauty on one such thrifting adventure and I knew I had to have it. I’m pretty sure that it was handmade. There’s no label of any kind. But it’s gorgeous! I’m a huge fan of color and this has SO. MANY. COLORS. And I thought with the embroidered turkeys that it was a perfect outfit for the month of November. Because it’s so busy I decided not to pair it with any accessories. Simple is best so nothing takes away from the beauty of the dress itself. And I kept my shoes to one color that matches part of the embroidery.Pastel Carousel | My Style | Thrifted Thanksgiving Turkey DressPastel Carousel | My Style | Thrifted Thanksgiving Turkey DressPastel Carousel | My Style | Thrifted Thanksgiving Turkey DressPastel Carousel | My Style | Thrifted Thanksgiving Turkey DressWhat do you guys think? Do you like the colors or did the person who handmade it go overboard?

  1. I LOVE the colors. U lookin’ supah-fly, girl! Finds like this make thrift shopping such a rush. You make a really good model, too! :):):)

  2. I love these dresses, so summery. Thats’s a good find! This reminds me of all that Ukrainian embroidered stuff that’s really popular (athough v expensive) right now – check out @vyshyvanka_by_vitakin on Instagram, lovely stuff.
