I’ve been fascinated with Harley Quinn ever since she first appeared on Batman: The Animated Series. For anyone who is unfamiliar with her background, her full name name and title is Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel M.D. She was a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum who was a seemingly normal doctor until she fell in love with the Joker. She became so obsessed with the Joker that she adopted this Harley Quinn persona in order to become his sidekick.
Dressing up like Harley Quinn is the only reason that I haven’t re-pinked my hair yet. I’ve been dying to go pink again, but I thought it only made sense to leave it blonde in order to be an accurate Harley. I also chose to grow out my pixie cut so that I could have pigtails like her. I really love this costume! It was so much fun to be Harley Quinn for a while. And the kids are loving the blow-up mallet!
