I admit that I’ve never been the girl to go all out for a Halloween costume. I definitely dressed up as a kid, but somewhere along the way I became “too cool” to dress up and stopped. When I became an adult and got married, I thought that MAYBE Jeremy and I could start dressing up to go to haunted houses. So I checked around and saw some very cool Steampunk costumes, but the prices! Holy cow, the prices! I just couldn’t bring myself to pay $50 – $60 for a costume that would probably rip by the end of the night. So I’m SUPER HAPPY that they’ve started to make costume dresses now. They’re usually around the same price, but are made of much better quality and can be worn over and over again. You can click here to see the Sally costume dress that I wore last year. Actually, I’ve worn it a lot during the year and it’s still good as new.
So here’s some of my favorite no-fuss, but still cute, costume dresses for your Halloween! Just don’t forget the accessories!

What a great idea! I just threw out an expensive costume that I wore 3 years ago and was holding on to in hopes I would get some more use out of it. Of course, I never wore it again. These dresses are adorable. I’m torn between Wonder Woman and Star Trek.
Thanks! I think they’re an awesome alternative. Both great choices! You would look great as Wonder Woman!
